
Experts of China Mobile and ZTEsoft had been invited to participate in "TAW" (Team Action Week) in Madrid, Spain, sponsored by TM Forum from January 23rd to 27th, 2012. In "Equipment & External Plant" part, "ONE OSS" was demonstrated and aroused strong echo among the experts in telecom industry.
As the only demonstration in the "TAW" conference, the announcement of releasing attracted much attention of experts present and the conference hall for demonstration was packed to the ceiling. The experts from China Mobile Design Institute demonstrated ZSmart Inventory System provided by ZTEsoft. They also elaborated the concept of "ONE OSS" for "Core Network – Bearer Network – External Route", expounding the best practice method of convergent network inventory. Furthermore, they proposed constructive suggestions on expansion of standard SID (Share Inventory Model) in external plant resource.
After the demonstration, some operator representatives including France Telecom, Deutsch Telecom and Vodafone are showing great interest in China Mobile Inventory System. Impressive is the word they used to describe this demonstration, and they also expect further communication on introducing the system into their own networks.
The experts from China Mobile Design Institute are responsible for China Mobile Group OSS research and construction and they have been tracing and researching into international specifications of TMF over a long period of time. Currently, China Mobile is the market leading telecom operator in OSS domain with their "ONE OSS" plan and construction ranking high in the industry.
In recent years, as a global leading provider of telecom software, ZTEsoft has deepened the cooperation with mainstream operators, such as China Mobile, France Telecom and Vodafone; ZTEsoft strengthens the participation in international organization for standardization in product authorizing, standard making and "catalyst" research.
